Penny Pickett

Penny has 17 years’ experience in the delivery of complex marine infrastructure projects and has led the project development, approvals and environmental impact assessments (EIA) for more than 10 GW of offshore wind projects in the UK and Australia, including the world’s two largest offshore wind projects.

Having spent the last fourteen years working in offshore wind in the UK and Australia, Penny has extensive experience in the planning and development of offshore wind projects. Her experience includes leading the approvals process for Hornsea One (1.2 GW, operational) and Hornsea Two (1.8 GW, operational), as well as the development strategy for the 6 GW, 5,000 km2 Hornsea Zone.

Penny also held key stakeholder and industry roles in the UK; assisting governments to find pragmatic solutions to key approvals and development risks for offshore wind projects in the UK and Europe.
