We welcome your registration for the APAC Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023. It is important to read all the information on the website before you commence. Please note all prices quoted are in Australian dollars (AU$) and are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

ACCOMMODATION

The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival, so any bookings made after Friday 28 July 2023 will be subject to availability. To request a new booking after Friday 28 July 2023 please email the Summit Office with your requirements including preferred hotel and check in and check out dates.

Please refer to the Summit website for information on the accommodation options within close proximity to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. 


Please note

  • A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card details will be forwarded to the hotel as a guarantee of your booking. Note your card will not be charged upon making a booking and will only be charged by the hotel.
  • You will be required to settle your room and incidental expenses directly with the hotel on your departure.
  • If you wish to pre-pay your accommodation in advance by credit card or by EFT (upon receipt of an invoice from the hotel), please note this in your email.

Change of booking 
To make a new booking, a subsequent change or to cancel your booking, notification via email must be made to the Summit Office. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes directly.

REGISTRATION SUMMARY

Once you are satisfied the below information reflects your registration requirements, please review the Cancellation and Refund Terms and Conditions and indicate your agreement to these below. You will then proceed to the payment page.

 

Cancellation and Refund Terms and Conditions

Voluntary Cancellation 
Should you decide to cancel your registration, the following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification: 

• On or before Wednesday 31 May 2023: 100% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST  
• On or before Friday 30 June 2023: 75% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST   
• On or before Tuesday 18 July 2023: 50% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST  
• After Tuesday 18 July 2023: No refund available

Refunds will be returned by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. 

No refund will be made after Tuesday 18 July 2023; however, an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly. 

Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event inclusive within the registration fee is not taken up, or if you subsequently cancel your participation in that function or event. 

Optional social program tickets may be cancelled on or before Tuesday 18 July 2023 and will be refunded in full by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. After Tuesday 18 July 2023 no refunds will be made, however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

If accommodation has been secured through the Summit website, please refer to the individual cancellation terms and conditions for each individual hotel. 

In the case of extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms and conditions may be considered by and at the discretion of the Summit organisers upon application.

If the Summit converts to a hybrid format in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person registrations, may be permitted and will be processed on a case-by-case basis following application to the Summit Office.

Summit Cancellation or Postponement 
The Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 may cancel or postpone the Summit due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location for the Conference.

In the event the Summit is not able to proceed as planned, and is moved to a virtual format, your registration will be transferred to a virtual registration. If you choose not to attend the virtual Summit, the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 will not be required to refund any part of the Summit registration fee.

In the event of postponement of the Summit, if, when requested, you advise that you are willing to attend the rescheduled Summit, the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 will transfer the registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements (subject to reasonable modification and availability) at the rescheduled event. If, at a later date, you then choose not to attend the rescheduled Summit, the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 will not be required to refund any part of the Summit registration fee. 

In the event of a full cancellation of the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the registration fee received.

The maximum liability of the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Summit registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.

COVID-19 Compliance
All participants at the Summit will be required to comply with the COVID Safety Guidelines and protocols in place with the venues and the Summit which will be aligned and compliant with all relevant Government health advice at that time. By registering for this event, the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 reserve the right to provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any other relevant Government requirements.

Details of the protocols and requirements will be available on the website and all registrants will be bound by these requirements. 

Delegate cancellation – Medical
The health and safety of Summit attendees is our highest priority. The Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 are mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. The Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 request that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the Summit.

If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Summit, you must cancel your in-person attendance in writing by email to apacsummit2023@wsm.com.au. A full refund may be provided at the discretion of the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023; however, you may be asked to provide additional details.

Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee, the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 and the Summit Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

Tax
All Summit registration fees and additional ticket rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and are quoted and charged inclusive of GST.

Disclaimer
By registering for the Summit, you acknowledge and consent that during your attendance at the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 your image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of the Summit, which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Asia Pacific Offshore Wind & Green Hydrogen Summit 2023 Office.
