Mark is a Partner with ERM where he leads environmental assessments and planning approvals for onshore and offshore renewable energy developments. He has an extensive background in environmental impact assessment and management with almost 30 years of experience providing strategic environmental and planning advice across all phases of project development. Mark has a PhD in marine ecology and early career experience as an academic researcher prior to becoming an environmental consultant and advisor. In his early years as a consultant, Mark led coastal and offshore marine survey and assessment programs for major projects across Australia, South-East Asia and the Pacific region.
