Dr Nick Aberle is the Clean Energy Council’s Director of Energy Generation & Storage. He leads the CEC’s work on large-scale project development, including planning/environmental approvals, community engagement and issues related to social licence, with a focus on ensuring Australia achieves a fast and fair roll-out of large-scale projects. Nick also coordinates the CEC’s strategy to support the growth of offshore wind. Prior to this, he was the Campaigns Manager at Environment Victoria – one of Australia’s leading environmental NGOs – where he designed and led influential campaigns to accelerate the energy transition.
