Shannon is a Nature Conservation Campaigner with the Victorian National Parks Association, a not-for-profit community and science-based organisation working to protect Victoria’s natural heritage for over 70 years. Shannon develops and facilitates policy, strategic planning, education and campaigns to highlight the importance of protecting Victoria’s marine wildlife and their habitats by working with government, community, industry and other ocean stakeholders.

Through her work in the offshore wind space, Shannon has been developing the case for how to plan for a nature positive offshore renewables transition: using marine spatial planning to guide a responsible energy industry.
