Tamara Al Hashmi

Tamara has 22 years’ experience in delivering environmental approvals across Australia and UK for offshore windfarms and large-scale infrastructure projects in marine and coastal environments. Her experience spans all stages of the environmental approvals process, including site feasibility, survey design, baseline and construction monitoring survey design, environmental impact assessment and development of management and mitigation strategies.
She is the Deputy Project Director and Marine Mammals / Underwater Noise Technical Lead for Star of the South and delivered an early due diligence study to identify potential red flag environmental, stakeholder and approvals risks. Tamara is our Project Director for an offshore wind farm development in New Zealand and she also provides strategic advice to other offshore wind clients in Australia and is responsible for leading on all aspects of Commonwealth and State approvals process.
